Kerasan R. LaMar

I'm Kerasan, a Wedding and Portrait Photographer and Filmmaker based in Philadelphia, PA. I started in photography like so many other people just taking pictures on trips and family vacations. It evolved into a serious hobby for me, finally reaching the point where people actually wanted to give me money to take their picture!

When I’m not shooting you can find me sampling a good cup of coffee in a cafe or coffee shop somewhere or catching a good movie. When we have the chance to speak with each other ask me about the time I became Ping Pong champion I promise it’s a great story! When it comes to Photography and Filmmaking I'm fascinated by the permanence they give us. They are the only art forms that capture a real life moment that occurs in a split second, preserves it so that 50 years from now anyone viewing that image or film can relive that moment all over again. My style of Wedding Photography and Filmmaking focuses on beauty, elegance and simplicity. Where you find beauty, capture it, where there is no beauty, create it! I look forward to working with you!
